Justin Conlin

Mr. Conlin is a Managing Director at Proterra and a member of the Proterra Credit team.

He is responsible for deal origination, structuring, underwriting, and execution of direct lending opportunities across the food, beverage, and agribusiness industries. Mr. Conlin brings extensive experience investing and advising across the capital structure in both private and public markets, with an emphasis on sourcing, private equity, M&A, corporate development, and capital markets transactions.

Prior to joining Proterra, he was an investor at Wayzata Investment Partners, a private equity firm specializing in direct loans to middle-market companies, distressed debt acquisitions, and investments in dislocated industries. While at Wayzata, Mr. Conlin also served on several boards and held board observer roles across multiple portfolio companies. He began his career at UBS Investment Bank in New York.

Mr. Conlin earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
